It’s rare to be a guest on a podcast hosted by some of my favourite people, but that’s exactly the chance I had on The Thought Leader Show.
I was thrilled to join some State of Social regulars in Bec Sands and Andrés López-Varela on The Thought Leader Show.
While it can be challenging to talk about yourself, reflecting on your professional journey and imparting some of the wisdom you’ve picked up along the way can be an interesting and rewarding exercise.
It’s safe to say it’s been a long journey from Texas to Perth, and I’m so grateful to Bec and Andrés for inviting me to share my story.
We covered a ton of ground in under an hour, from building a personal brand to being taken seriously as a thought leader, tall poppy syndrome, advice for live television interviews, and the ick factor. Phew!
