Coffey & Tea are well-known for their work in the tourism and hospitality industry, but every now and then an opportunity to share the knowledge with others comes along.

This week is one of those instance. On Friday, MD, Meg Coffey, has been invited to present a social media workshop at The Pharmacy Forum. Though not the usual industry Meg presents her workshops and training sessions to, the opportunity to talk at the prestigious event was very much welcomed.

Im really looking forward to presenting at the Pharmacy Forum, I always like the challenge of working with different industries.

The Forum is hosted by The Pharmacy Guild of WA, the national peak body representing the pharmacy community. The two-day event at Crown Perth will bring together key decision makers in the pharmacy industry and associated Government bodies.

This year The Forum’s focus is how to nurture customer relationships. A number of talks and presentations will be held over the two days in which attendees will gain valuable insights on building relationships and customer loyalty from industry leaders.

As one of the invited speakers, Meg will bring her knowledge and expertise on social media to The Forum attendees. Social media is a very powerful tool for building relationships between brands and customers.

Its really important for businesses to understand that social media isnt going away, its here to stay. Businesses of all sizes need to learn how to use it to their advantage.

Knowing which platform is right for your brand is just one of the topics Meg will cover. She will also provide attendees with valuable tips on using social to tell the brand story and the best way to deal with negative feedback on business pages.

I think the pharmacy community are already very aware of the need to provide customer service, but with the right tools and knowledge of how social works they can be even better.

Guild members, pharmacy owners and managers as well as suppliers and distributors of pharmacy products will be able to take the learnings and best practice tips and apply it to their own business.

The Forum is being held at Crown Perth on 4 – 5 August, 2017. For more information on the event and to register head to the event page.
