National Police Media Directors Forum

10 November 2017 8:00 pm

Meg was invited to speak at the National Police Media Directors’ Forum and share her thoughts on the role of social media in law enforcement. Attendees included the Media Directors of each Australian State & Territory as well as New Zealand.

Her presentation “Social Media – get involved or go home” had a quick look at the role the major platforms play in today’s communication and how law enforcement can use them to disseminate their messages. Meg also covered the shift from the traditional Four P’s of Marketing to the Four C’s and outlined how law enforcement can adapt to better communicate with the public.

With social media playing an increasingly more important role in how law enforcement agencies communicate with the public, Meg’s presentation to senior media and communications professionals from across Australia and New Zealand provided an independent validation of current practices, and an insight into the future of the digital landscape.

Meg’s industry knowledge and experience, combined with her friendly personality, made her a great choice for this conference.
