Inside the Session That Cut Through the Noise
On 12 June 2025, I had the privilege of speaking at the Maximum Occupancy Conference in Perth, sharing the stage with some seriously sharp minds from the accommodation, tourism, and short-stay world.
My session focused on how social and digital marketing actually drives bookings, not just likes. What is working right now, what is noise, and where operators are leaving money on the table by chasing trends instead of building systems. We talked about visibility, conversion, community, and the uncomfortable but necessary shift from posting content to building a real digital strategy.
What I loved most was the room. Smart operators, practical questions, and a clear appetite for doing marketing better, not louder. That is always the sign of an industry ready to move forward.
Speaking at events like this is a big part of what I do. I work with businesses that want clarity, confidence, and results from their marketing, whether through strategy, consulting, workshops, or keynotes that actually leave people with something they can use on Monday morning.
If you are looking for someone who understands the reality of running a business, not just the theory of marketing, we should talk.
