The 2016 WA Tourism Conference

6 July 2016 6:29 pm

We’re so excited for the 2016 WA Tourism Conference! Following a successful inaugural event last year, the WA Tourism Conference returns in August.

This year, the conference is hosted jointly by Tourism Council WA, Visitor Centres WA, Caravan Industry Association WA and Forum Advocating Cultural & Eco-Tourism (FACET).

The 2016 WA Tourism Conference includes a range of social events, key speakers, panel sessions and networking opportunities across three days. More than 50 speakers and panelists from across Australia, including Government Ministers, industry leaders and tourism experts will share their knowledge with Western Australia’s tourism industry.

Maximize your experience by attending one of the social media training workshops held in partnership with Tourism Council WA. We will present Twitter, Instagram, Hashtags and more; Facebook Insights; and Building your brand through Reputation Management and Influencers on Monday August 8 from 830am. For more information or to register, visit the TCWA website.

Meg will also be facilitating the Social Media & Digital Marketing Panel on Day 3. We will discuss the latest in social media and digital marketing trends for tourism businesses and give insights on how to really make a difference. Meg will be joined by panelists Guy Turner, The Sunday Times; Quie Morrison, Tourism WA; Karen Dauncey, Blue Cherry; Sean Blocksidge, The Margaret River Discovery Co.
